Writing

Draw a picture of something you are enjoying right now. Then write about it.

JK’s can write a simple sentence with guidance.

SK’s can write 1-3 sentences. Try to write what your hear with no help. Remember Kindergarten writing doesn’t need to be perfect you just need to try your best!

Math

Some students will be very familiar with the following Number Bond activity. While this will be completely new to others. You may want to use counters and the Number Bond Mat to help you explore the numbers and explain your thinking.

Look at the Number Bond Puzzler. What do you notice?

Your job is to figure out which number bonds are true and which are false.

Extension: When you have figured out which ones are false show how you can make them true.
