Pattern-pillars

Today you are going to be making patterns using caterpillar bodies. You can either draw your own or print the picture below. You can use any material you have available at home ( pompoms, stickers or just colour them in). JK's will choose 2 and SK's will choose 3 of the following patterns.

AB

AAB

ABB

AABB

ABC

Here is a little reminder. Caroline made an AB pattern and Charra made an ABC pattern.

Next, you're going to cut circles our and transform your name into the body of a caterpillar. JK's are going to write each letter of their first name in a circle, SK's are going to write the letters of their first and last name. If you have chalk at home, you may also draw your caterpillar circles on the driveway or sidewalk.
