Where do we start? How can we choose one memory to think about? How can we sum our class up in a small blurb?
When we look back on our class and the year that we have had, we can think of one word to describe our group...fun! Our goal was to make learning fun for our students and we hope we accomplished that. But our little munchkins made learning fun for us too. Both us walked into our class each and every day knowing that one of our students would have a joke to share, an entertaining story from the night before or simply welcome us with a huge smile. How could we not love what we do?
When we think back on our days together, here are some memories that come to mind:
Slimy pumpkin investigation
Polar Bear Blubber experiment & Hibernation Hunt around school
Freezing Bubbles (blowing bubbles in cold weather)
Elf on the Shelf
100 Day of School (all of us looked really old on that day)
Our Class Joke Book (we laughed until our stomaches hurt)
Leprechaun Trap Building with our Reading Buddies
We will see all of you next year and we can't wait for that day! Some of you are first years and we will be in the Kindergarten hallway together again but some of you are second years and are going off to Grade 1. For our second years, remember what Dr. Seuss says, "You are off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So....get on your way!"
We miss all of you so much and we hope that you have a wonderful and safe summer. So we end our note with a joke for our friends.
Where do bananas go to learn?.............At sundae school!
