Police Officer
Equipment:
Cleared dining room or kitchen table with chairs
One object (i.e.) a stuffie, set of keys
Set-up:
Choose one person to be the police officer. The other players remain seated at the table with their object in front of them. After taking a few minutes to closely observe the room, the police officer leaves the room.
Directions:
When the police officer leaves the room, the other players change places and the objects are also moved. After everyone changes places, the police officer is called back to the room. The police officer attempts to place everyone back to their original seat with the correct object. If done correctly, the player is declared the “Chief of Police”. New rounds can be played with different family members are police officers.
Variations:
1. If your family has larger numbers, you can have 2 police officers.
2. Do not use an object to make the game less challenging.
3. You can have your child(ren) use paper, scissors, and colouring pencils/markers to make their own badges.
Have fun, Mr. Rankin
